Automatic BLDC Outer Stator & Outer Rotor Winding Production Line

Introduction:

This automated production line is specially designed for manufacturing outer-slot stators used in 

BLDC (Brushless DC) motors. It is widely applied in the production of:

• Electric bicycle motors

• Electric vehicle motors

• Hub motors

• DD BLDC washing machine motors

• Other high-torque outer rotor motor applications

Technical & Structural Overview:

In this system, the outer slot stator is constructed around a central wound stator. Permanent magnets 

are mounted on the inside diameter of the rotor housing, which rotates around the fixed stator—forming 

an outer rotor motor architecture.

These motors are also known as Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motors (PMSMs) when magnets are 

used. Compared to traditional inner rotor motors, outer rotor stators:

• Are more compact and cost-effective for high-volume production

• Offer lower torque ripple due to increased rotor inertia

• Provide higher efficiency and smoother motion
